Bethune-Cookman, FAMU to play Florida Classic at Camping World Stadium

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Blue Florida Classic will remain at Camping World Stadium, university officials announced, keeping the historic HBCU rivalry in its longtime home despite an ongoing $400 million stadium renovation.
The game between Florida A&M University and Bethune-Cookman University is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
The venue project, which runs through summer 2027, will ultimately expand seating capacity to 65,000 and upgrade campus amenities. Operations will run at an adjusted capacity for game day, though official seating limits and ticketing details have not yet been finalized.
"As one of the only match-ups between two HBCUs that is fully owned by the universities, we recognize how important this game is," FAMU President Marva B. Johnson said.
Held at Camping World Stadium since 1997, the Classic draws nearly 60,000 fans and generates an estimated $30 million in economic impact annually, with proceeds benefiting student scholarships at both institutions.
